I'm obligated not to say how much I don't like this. My mother said it irritates her, so I'm not.
Actually though I'm happy with this for the most part. After it was finished I really stepped back and looked, of course I once again made the features too small, but it's something I'll work on. Extremely disappointed in the fact that the scan didn't pick up the shading on the right (his left) very well. It looks better then that, I swear.
This is my grandpa when he was about 18. He was in the Navy. This is also my mom's favorite picture of him she has, so I hope I did it justice.

Man, with you being so freaked out about some places, you really executed them well! The hair turned out really nice...You've learned a substantial amount since the last drawing. Your pictures have so much depth to them now, with the dark and lights. It has serious contrast! You did a fabulous job with the little things, like shapes of shadow and where not to shade (ex:nose shadow/hat). The face shading it great! I think you're really showing some smooth shading there. You're improving so much...it's really amazing. It's almost frightening to see your improvement! Seriously! (But not too scary..XD) Fantastic job...I can't wait to see your next peice.
