Calishna

Woo. Another original character. Lame I know, but I think I'm improving. Mostly I just like the story I created for her, which I will share now ^-^


Many many many years ago a mortal sorcerer woman was forcibly taken by a demon. (I hate the word, sorry) Not knowing she was pregnant, and with it not being human, she had a baby quite unexpectedly. The baby appeared fine so she kept it. Soon however, the infant girl began developing abnormalities. The demon part of her took hold. Slowly over time the demon blood in her makes her less and less human. However her mother being as powerful as she was, the magic in her blood helps to hinder the transformation. She is extremely good natured. Polite, well tempered and helpful just as her mother raised her, she tends to overlook the stares she got. She ages slowly though so over time her mother died and people became harsher to her until finally Calishna Hid from the world. Despite her cool disposition the demon blood in her tends to take over during times of heightened emotion. She yearns to learn how to use the magic she knows could help save her from becoming savage, but the demon blood "covers" it, making it close to impossible. Now she travels in secrecy looking for answers... and to find the father that made her who she is.


Her clothing is the way it is because of several reasons. One being she doesn't want to let go of the old ways she grew up with and refuses to embrace today's culture. Another is she fights against evil she comes across and that tends to tatter the clothes a bit. She is also very modest and the concept of vanity never took her over. Plus with those claws, it's hard to get dressed without ripping them.

The staff was given to her by a coven she came across in her travels. They told her it would help her learn her magic. So far she hasn't been very successful.




And yes, her right eye is not filled in on purpose.
